Our ethos has never changed since we started to teach art. Why, because our students tell us consistently that our ethos works.
We provide proprietary art tuition to small numbers of students at any one time. This ensures a more personal experience.
We operate a cancellation policy to help us work together.
Upfront payments are required to secure places for our classes, workshops, and art trips.
We understand that no one makes a booking with the intention of cancelling.
We rely on students to provide timely cancellation notice to us.
This website is owned by Dublin Art Classes (“We” or “Us”).
We provide you with access to our website including, but not limited to, art lessons, workshops, trips, gallery, commissions and our online store (together, our “Services”) subject to the following website terms and conditions (Ts & Cs). Supplemental Ts & Cs or documents that may be posted on our website from time to time are hereby expressly incorporated herein by reference.
Our Ts & Cs are intended to set out the main elements of how our website works. If you are unwilling to be bound by these Ts & Cs, you should not browse, access, use or purchase/commission our services from this website.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to make changes or modifications to our Ts & Cs at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last updated” date of these Ts & Cs, and you waive any right to receive specific notice of each such change.
It is your responsibility to periodically review our Ts & Cs to stay informed of updates. This attendance policy is intended to ensure that all students are able to keep up with the material and make the most of their learning experience. It is important that students and their parents/guardians carefully review and understand this policy before signing up for a class.

Our cancellation policy
We aim to deliver all activities as advertised. However, activities may be cancelled, or changed, if enrolments are too low or in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Session dates and times may be provisional and subject to change.
In relation to cancellation of any course /class /workshop by you for any reason:
We will only use the personal information you give us to inform you about your course or similar courses unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. We may sub-contract the provision of any element of our Website (including the hosting of our Website) and also the Provision of Courses to external persons and by accepting these Terms you consent to this use and storage of your data. We will not pass your data to any other third parties.
All rights title and interest in any copyright that is created in any works by you whilst on a Course will vest in you upon creation but you hereby grant a licence of such copyright and the right to use such works and further your name and image in any photograph taken by us or on our behalf or supplied by you to us for advertising purposes including without limitation on our website and in our brochures.
Photographic imagery
Still or video imagery is not allowed in Dublin Art Classes without prior consent from both the tutor and Dublin Art Classes. It is particularly important to note that in life drawing & painting and portrait sessions that all telephones should be switched off, and not used under any circumstance. Opportunity can be made for you to take pictures of your work as arranged with the tutor.
How we manage our data
The representation of all information and artistic references and visuals on our website is made by us in absolute good faith. We attempt to be as accurate as possible including the details and prices of our services and the display of art for sale.
We take great care in establishing the content of our website and delivering our services however, we do not guarantee that every product, service, description, image, price or other information is error-free. In the event of a genuine error, whether on this website, in an order confirmation, delivering a product or service or otherwise, we reserve the right to correct the genuine errors and revise your order accordingly if necessary (including charging the correct price) or to cancel the order and refund any amount charged. Your sole remedy in the event of such genuine error is to cancel your order and to obtain a timely refund.
How we use third party website and content
Our website may contain links (or you may be sent via our website) to other websites (“Third-Party Websites”) as well as articles, photographs, text, graphics, pictures, designs, music, sound, video, information, applications, software, and other content or items belonging to or originating from third parties (“Third-Party Content”).

Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-refundable.

Gift vouchers are like cash, so if you lose them, the company does not have to replace them. If a voucher was made out to you specifically and is not transferable to anyone else, you may be able to get a replacement. This depends on the gift voucher’s terms and conditions and the company’s policy.
If you lose a gift card, you may be able to get a replacement card but you need to check with the retailer. You could be charged a fee for the replacement card.
If you buy a gift voucher or gift card for someone else, make sure you give them the terms and conditions and the receipt with the voucher or card.
These terms and conditions apply to all Dublin Art Classes events run for students, applied for and consented to by the parent or guardian. Dublin Art Classes reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions as the situation arises.
We use pictures sensibly and aim to never publish children’s names with pictures. Please inform a member of the Dublin Art Classes Teaching/Administrative staff if you do not wish your child to be involved in any photo shoots.
Materials: All materials needed for our kids art classes will be provided. However, students are welcome to bring their own materials if they prefer.
Conduct: We expect all students to conduct themselves in a respectful manner towards their classmates and instructors. Any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in the student being asked to leave the class.
Liability: By enrolling in our art classes, you agree to hold us harmless for any injuries sustained during class. We will do our best to prevent any accidents, but we cannot be held responsible for any injuries that may occur.
Changes to schedule: We reserve the right to make changes to our schedule as needed. We will do our best to notify students of any changes in advance.
Photography: We may take photographs or videos of our classes for promotional purposes. By enrolling in our art classes, you consent to the use of your likeness in any promotional materials.

Privacy: We respect your privacy and will not share any personal information provided during enrolment with any third parties.
Dublin Art Classes and all persons involved in courses (herein after referred to as “AGENTS”) act only in capacity as AGENTS for the participant in all matters connected with travel, sight-seeing journeys and transportation, and as AGENTS hold themselves free of responsibility for any damage occasioned by any cause. AGENTS will not be responsible for any damages or expenses or inconveniences caused by late departures or change of schedule, strikes or to their conditions, nor will be responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any of the participant’s belongings. All prices quoted are correct at time of printing, include the cost of operation of the journeys, and are subject to currency changes. AGENTS shall not be responsible for personal injury, death, accident, delay, loss, damage, irregularity or property damage as a result of force majeure or for any other losses or damages incurred by any person or journey participants caused by any delay or change of itinerary or arising out of any act, including, but not limited to, any act of negligence, any person acting for or on behalf of AGENTS for transportation, accommodation or sight-seeing provider or any other person or entity rendering any of these services or accommodations being offered in connection with this journey. This agreement supersedes all previous oral or written communications, representations, or agreements between the parties. Participants assume the risk involved when participating in a painting/photography course, foreign travel, and any and all activities and/or pursuits voluntarily undertaken while participating in the retreat. Participants agree that any and all disputes between Participants and Dublin Art Classes shall be governed by EU law. Participants agree to mediate any and all disputes prior to the institution of any litigation. In the event of any litigation between the Parties to this agreement involving their respective rights or obligations, such litigation shall take place in the EU and the prevailing party shall be entitled to recovery of reasonable solicitors/lawyers fees and court costs of litigation. In regard to the stay during the art course, AGENTS will provide safe, careful instruction and safe premises, but ask that each participant to take personal responsibility for their own self-care and (in the unlikely case) for any injuries incurred during a course. Modifications are given to students with specific needs. If participants are unsure of their physical ability due to previous injuries, they should seek the advice of a healthcare practitioner beforehand.
Please note that because Dublin Art Classes is limited to a small number of students, to allow for a more personable, intimate experience, our cancellation policy is in place to help guests and us alike work together sharing expenses that may arise from unexpected cancellations.
We understand that no one books a trip with the intention of cancelling it, but unexpected events do occur, so please consider purchasing travel insurance and that it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies.
Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies.
No refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the art trip/excursion/painting holiday, or for arriving late or leaving early.
We recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance. Most travel insurance must be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
We encourage you to purchase trip cancellation insurance in order that your trip fees will be covered should you or your family have a medical problem prior to your trip or while on the trip. Trip insurance should also be purchased to cover medical expenses in the event you have an accident while on the art trip/excursion/painting holiday.
Dublin Art Classes reserves the right to cancel art trips/excursions/painting holidays with inadequate participant interest, in which case all money paid to Dublin Art Classes will be refunded. Notification of cancellation will occur at least 1 month prior.
