Launched in 1999 to coincide with the International Year of Older Persons, it has since grown into a vibrant celebration held every year in Cork, Dublin, Galway, Limerick, and Sligo. It’s a wonderful place to explore new interests, meet people, and enjoy a day of inspiration and creativity.
Dublin Art Classes is excited to be part of this year’s event at the RDS, bringing live painting demonstrations, our ever-popular Palette Knife Workshops, and a stunning exhibition of student artwork from 2025 and previous years. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet the artists behind the paintings, see creativity in action, and experience the joy of art firsthand.
Visitors are invited to bring a coffee, wander through the artwork, and soak up the stories and techniques behind each piece. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply curious about the creative process, there’s plenty to enjoy, learn, and be inspired by.
